In April 2019, with a view to prevent abuse, Google engineers showed the desire to block certain HTTP file downloads that load via an HTTPS URL. The proposal has finally materialized and shall soon be rolled-out in six phases, starting with Google Chrome 83.

Google also studied the implications these changes might have on its enterprise and education customers, and thus gave an option to the webmasters for disabling the blocking on a per-site basis via the existing Google policy, InsecureContentAllowedForUrls. It can be done by adding a pattern matching the page requesting the download.
Developers/webmasters can also test the warning message functionality for mixed content download in the current version of Chrome Canary, or in Chrome 81 once released. To do so, they simply need to activate the mixed content flag at, chrome://flags/#treat-unsafe-downloads-as-active-content.
Thread modeling aims to draw conclusions on what areas demand the greatest focus to keep a system secure. This iterative process comprises defining assets, creating a security profile for every application, potential threat identification and prioritization, and documentation of adverse actions and events in each case.
Cyberwarfare is extremely common, and many high profile enterprises have been subject to major hacking issues. In this day and age, spending on IT security on a global scale is reaching the trillion-dollar mark. What better way to combat the threat of black-hat hacking than by making use of an army of white-hat hackers?
If you want to dabble with torrenting, make sure the content you download is safe and legal. To protect yourself and to stay completely anonymous online, we recommend you always use a VPN such as NordVPN.
The Pirate Bay is a behemoth in the torrenting world, bringing in tens of millions of visitors a month, with the same amount of files in their library, fast download speeds, and an easy-to-use interface.
For many users, 1337X is their top pick for this kind of entertainment, especially since the site allows you to browse by award nomination. On top of that, the site has no intrusive ads and offers a decent download speed of about 3 to 4 MB/s.
YTS is hands-down the best torrenting website for movie enthusiasts. With over 75 million visits a month, a download speed of 3 to 4 MB/s, and flawless design, YTS is the go-to site for movie torrents.
Not only does YTS have a phenomenal interface, but the library on display is also impressive. It has millions of torrents, including rare, old titles in HD quality. The site also compresses all its downloads, so even if you have low bandwidth, you should be able to download them with ease.
LimeTorrents has a seamless interface and good seeder/leecher ratios on new torrents. It also boasts a download speed in the 3 to 4 MB/s range and has just under 20 million users a month across all mirrors. Moreover, it offers many search options.
But LimeTorrents fell out of favor with the torrenting community as its recent updates have introduced increasingly intrusive ads. Not to mention, the seeder-leecher ratio is rarely positive on older files.
This article has an educational purpose. We advise you against torrenting in general, just to be on the safe side. If you do torrent, however, make sure the files you download are shared legally in your country.
One word of caution, we have seen a lot of issues with:1) Non-Google files and multiple people syncing those files. Ranges from Google Drive recreating deleted files. Moving moved files back to their original location. The more files you have, the more confused Google Drive seems to get.
I think you are looking at Drive through Rose tinted spectacles! You maybe able to view photos offline in Drive, but you have to wait ages for them to open on my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0). Also you cannot transfer files or photos directly from Google+ to drive , you have to download them to your PC then up load them to Drive.
I have seen this same thing when sharing powerpoint slides via Google Drive, sometimes the quality can drop when you view it in preview mode but when you download the file and view it on your local its perfect.
I discovered that the work done on the Google app in terms of creating and rearranging file folders is only a copy and the changes on the app have to then be uploaded to the Google drive. It appeared to fix the problem of the folders not being replicated on Google drive. There are still loose documents which I deleted on the app which still remain in the share drive. So it appears I will have to manually delete these from the share drive.
Can you tell me how to upload photos to google drive but keep the original file name? I have uploaded photos from my iphone but Google Drive renames all of the files and they are thus out of order.thanks.Stew
Hey there! I have a question and could`t find the answer anywhere!I have Cuda Drive (it`s a desktop application from Copy.com cloud storage). And what it does is show me every file that I have in my storage, but only downloads the files that I use most, and until the limit that i have set (10gb).
Thank you for the article. I ended up here as I am trying to find how best to keep all Emails and Docs associated with a project in one file. Can I keep a Doc under a GMAIL label or use a DRIVE FOLDER to move emails to.
The general use appears good but has anyone used it to handle an encrypted file that appears as a regular drive when encrypted on the local machine. Additionally if a file in the encrypted volume is changed does drive re-sync the entire file properly to include the change in the contained file? From what I see at this time drive is great for information not requiring any security concerns but not for any that contain private information.

I need to upload 200 PDF files to google docs (filenames will be preset document numbers of our in-house published documents). On an index, I need to allow the users to link to directly to each uploaded doc.
How can I get the links for the 200 files I have uploaded to Google docs based on their filenames? Clicking on each Sharing link to get the randomly assigned Google doc number for each of the 200 uploaded document is not feasible. Or is there a way to get a report or csv file of what filename maps to what Google randomly generated number for the 200 files in that folder (if I can get a mapping in a csv file, then that will also do the job)
I downloaded the Google Drive App and want to sync the drive to my computer. However, I have a Macbook Pro and the syncs takes way too much space on my HDD. Do you know how to sync Google Drive to an external HD like a Passport Air? Thanks!
For Example:Company A: Creates a shared folder for XYZ to get details , Sends a Form requesting to fill in the Candidate credentials.Candidate XYZ: Half fills the form.Information Auto Saved.Company A: Instead of opening the folder& checking if it is filled or no or how far it is filled at regular Intervals. Is there a way we can incorporate a Status Bar with the Percentage of Completion So when we open the folder we know& can take required action without digging into the file.
It should be possible to send a link to share an image file or an audio file for viewing/hearing.I can NOT find a method for this. My family is large and they do not all have gmail. Does that mean no gmail then no share with my mother, et al? 041b061a72
